Parent Relations & Support Services

School Clinic

A health file for every student: chronic and emergency conditions, vaccinations and their schedule, and diagnoses — with a clinic for each branch run by an assigned officer, clinic referrals requested by the system administrator, duty supervisor, or counselor, and parent notification of any health update. Timely care built on a record, not on memory.

What This Service Delivers

A student's allergy or diabetes is information that must be in the hands of whoever needs it at the moment of need — not on an old registration sheet. ViewClass's School Clinic builds a health file for every student and connects the clinic to administration, the counselor, and the parent through a clear referral, diagnosis, and notification path.

What you get:

  • A clinic for every branch with an officer assigned from administrators under the "Clinic Officer" role.
  • A medical record for every student: added from their file, edited when needed, and viewed alongside their referral history.
  • Reference lists: chronic and emergency conditions (added in bulk), medicines available in the clinic, and vaccinations with schedule tracking.
  • Clinic referrals: requested by the system administrator, duty supervisor, or student counselor from the student's file, appearing to the clinic officer.
  • Documented diagnoses: recorded by the medical officer at every referral and viewable by the system administrator.
  • Parent notification of the diagnosis and any health updates through the platform.

How It Works in ViewClass

  1. At setup: the system administrator creates the clinic, assigns its officer, adds the conditions, medicines, and vaccination lists, and enters each student's initial medical record.
  2. When needed: the student is referred to the clinic from their file, and the medical officer receives them having already seen their full record.
  3. After the examination: the diagnosis is recorded in the student's file, the parent is notified if the officer chooses, and vaccinations and status are updated.

What Your School Gains

  • Care at the right time. The clinic officer knows the student's condition before examining them — diabetes, allergies, and medications are in the record, not in anyone's memory.
  • A reassured parent. They are informed of what happens to their child's health as it happens, rather than discovering it in the evening.
  • Documentation that protects the school. Every referral, diagnosis, and action is recorded with its date — a reference in any review.
  • Preventive follow-up. The vaccination schedule and its tracking turn the clinic from an emergency room into part of school health.
