What This Service Delivers
Every school has its own grading system: different columns, different weights, grades and certificates in its own identity. ViewClass's Grade Reports impose no template; they give the system administrator a report builder to construct the school's report exactly as it is — and release it to students and parents on schedule.
What you get:
- The dynamic report — built to your system:
- Controlled dates: start and end of grade entry, start and end of calculation, and the report's opening and closing dates for students.
- Display settings: included grades, inclusion of the behavior grade, bilingual subject names, and who sees it (student, parent, teacher).
- Header and footer in the school's identity: report title, logo, student, grade, and class details in a controllable order, and principal or deputy signatures.
- Columns of three types: numeric, calculated, horizontally calculated — with show/hide, counting as the overall total, and repetition as needed (assignments, exams, participation, and so on).
- Letter grades linked to the overall total and shown in the report, with a GPA system set by the administrator.
- Report management after creation: grade review, comprehensive view, student ranking, column management, selection of displayed subjects, export (CSV and Excel), and hiding a student from the report.
- The static report: uploading ready PDF or image reports (individually or compressed) distributed automatically to students by ID number.
- The transcript: merging multiple reports from terms or years into one comprehensive student record.
- For students and parents: viewing grades in all subjects with the behavior report, on the set opening dates.
How It Works in ViewClass
- The system administrator builds the report from "Grade Management → Create Report": type, settings and dates, header and footer, then columns — and submits it.
- Teachers record their grades in the report's categories during the entry period, and calculated columns, totals, and letter grades are computed automatically.
- Reviewed and released: leadership reviews grades and rankings and exports what it needs, then the report opens to students and parents on schedule — or the static report is uploaded and distributed automatically.
What Your School Gains
- A report that matches your policy exactly. You do not adapt your system to the platform; the platform builds your system.
- A certificate in the school's identity. Logo, header, and signatures come out uniform for every student with no manual design.
- No leaks before the date. Opening and closing dates ensure grades appear to the right people at the right time.
- A record extending across years. The transcript issues the student's full academic history at transfer, graduation, or application.
