What This Service Delivers
A subject in ViewClass is not just a name in a table; it is a complete structure from which lessons, preparations, content, assignments, exams, and grades branch out. Subject Management and Lesson Tree puts this structure in place once and accurately, so every academic service afterwards works on a unified foundation.
What you get:
- Three ways to add subjects: manually through a form (for enrichment and custom subjects), in bulk from an Excel file using the approved template, or from ViewClass's ready-made subjects for all grades on the national track — which automatically come with a ready lesson tree and question banks for the lessons.
- A lesson tree for every subject: a structured index of units and the lessons branching from each, from which the lesson is selected when preparing, adding content, or building an exam.
- Domains and standards linked to the subject, to which exam questions are tied to measure objective achievement.
- Operational data per subject: the linked grade, number of periods, display order on the certificate, and source of addition.
- Credit hours for schools operating on an academic credit system, set for all subjects from one place.
How It Works in ViewClass
- At setup, the system administrator (or the activation team) adds the school's subjects: the ready-made ones from ViewClass with one click for all grades, and custom ones manually or from Excel with their lesson tree built.
- Subjects are assigned to teachers, and each teacher sees their subjects on the home screen and sidebar, with each subject's services in its window: preparation, content, assignments, exams, grades.
- Everything is built on them: the teacher selects the lesson from the tree to prepare, add content, or create an exam; standards link questions to objectives; and certificates order subjects as specified.
What Your School Gains
- A faster start on the national track. A ready lesson tree and question banks for every subject mean teachers begin preparing and testing from day one without building the structure themselves.
- Consistency among teachers of the same subject. Everyone works on the same tree, so preparations and exams converge and become easy to compare.
- Standards-linked measurement. Tying questions to the subject's domains and standards turns an exam result from a number into a picture of mastered and missing skills.
- Flexibility for international and enrichment programs. Custom subjects are added in full with their tree, standards, and credit values, so the platform never confines your school to one curriculum.
