This Privacy Policy explains how ViewClass (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses and processes information related to your use of our mobile application, ViewClass Platform (the “App”), which is an educational platform primarily intended for students, including those under the age of 13, to complete assignments and tests. We would like to clarify that accounts are not created directly through the App, and we do not directly collect student account registration data. The contracted schools are provided with student accounts and are responsible for delivering these accounts to students and parents/legal guardians. The use of these accounts is limited to logging into the App and completing assignments and tests.

• Usage Data (e.g., services used, time spent in the App, interactions with educational content, progress on assignments and tests).

How We Share Your Information:

We share the information collected automatically while using the App with the contracted schools. This information is used by the schools to monitor student progress and evaluate their performance in educational activities. Other than this, we do not share this information with any other third parties.

Data Security:

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the information collected automatically while using the App from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure server infrastructure, and regular security assessments. However, no internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free.

5. Data Retention:

We retain the account registration data that we created for the schools for the duration of the academic year, which is approximately ten months. Other data collected automatically while using the App, such as progress on assignments and tests, is also retained for the academic year to facilitate reporting and educational continuity for the schools. At the end of the academic year and in accordance with our agreements with the schools, this data will be handled according to the school’s policies and applicable regulations. Since we do not collect account registration data directly from students, the responsibility for modifying or deleting this data rests with the school. Students can contact their school administration to request any modifications or deletion of accounts.

6. Your Privacy Rights:

Since we do not directly collect student account registration data, the responsibility for managing this data and exercising the associated privacy rights primarily lies with the contracted school. Students or their legal guardians can contact their school administration to inquire about the school’s privacy policies and how to exercise their rights regarding personal data. Regarding the data collected automatically while using the App, we use it for the purposes outlined in this policy. If you have any inquiries about this data, please contact your school administration.

7. Children’s Privacy:

ViewClass Platform is primarily intended for use by students, including those under the age of 13, for educational purposes under the supervision and guidance of their schools. We do not directly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Based on the request of the contracted schools and according to the agreements made, we create accounts and provide them to the schools, and the schools are responsible for delivering these accounts to students and parents/legal guardians. We use the information collected automatically while using the App solely for educational purposes, such as enabling students to complete assignments and track their progress. We do not collect any personal information from children beyond what is necessary for these educational purposes. Schools have the right to review, manage, delete, and refuse further collection of their students’ data. For any inquiries regarding the personal information of students under the age of 13, please contact your school administration.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our privacy practices or applicable laws. We will notify the schools that use ViewClass Platform of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on our website and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. Schools are responsible for informing students and their parents/guardians of any updates to this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after the posting of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
